At Little Dog Retreat, we adjust our activities and care to match the seasons, ensuring every pup stays comfortable, happy, and engaged—no matter the weather or their age.
For our older pups, we always adapt the pace and type of activities to suit their energy levels and needs, providing more rest breaks and gentler play options.
During warm weather, we provide shaded play areas, fresh water at all times, and shorter outdoor sessions to keep pups cool and comfortable. As the temperatures drop, we create warm and cozy indoor play zones, perfect for supervised fun or a restful snooze.
When it’s colder, we still go outside in the rain or snow but play and potty times are shorter. We create cozy indoor spaces for supervised play, snuggles, and downtime to keep them warm and comfortable.
We also consider the unique needs of each dog based on their fitness and energy level. Younger pups can enjoy playful activities to burn off energy, while older dogs benefit from gentle play and plenty of relaxation time tailored to their comfort.
